- Yes! You can create one project and track unlimited time entries completely free, forever. No credit card required to start. If you need more projects, you can upgrade to Pro.
- How does budget tracking work?
- When you create a project, you enter your quoted amount and hourly rate. The tracker automatically calculates your available hours and shows you real-time progress. You can also set a contingency percentage (e.g., 10%) to give yourself a buffer before going over budget.
- Can I track time for different activity types?
- Yes! You can categorise your time entries by activity type (development, meetings, admin, etc.). This helps you understand where your time actually goes and identify if certain activities are eating into your budget.
- Does the timer work if I close the browser?
- The timer state is saved to your browser's local storage, so if you accidentally close a tab, your timer will still be there when you come back. You can also open a floating popup window that stays on top while you work.
- Can I export my time entries for invoicing?
- Pro users can export time entries to CSV or PDF format, making it easy to generate invoices or provide detailed breakdowns to clients. Free users can view all their entries in the app.
- What happens to my data if I cancel?
- If you cancel your Pro subscription, you keep access to your first project and all its data. Additional projects become read-only until you resubscribe or archive them.
